A writer or journalist shouldn't make a basic mistake like this. If you don't know a word's meaning then you shouldn't use it.

Iran would probably close it, or try, not us. . That’s about their only big ploy? They do have Hizbollah. Lob some missiles at Israel, suicide bombers try and take out a ship? It’s happened before. Just conjecture on my part.
Frightening to think there are some here who know what that means. Even when we try to escape thinking about aging, there’s always someone here to remind us - which is a similar line from another song!!!
