They are not the only ones. But I suspect the Israelis are a bit relieved today.
Iraq does not want to become a proxy of Iran; as we’ve seen, there are quite a few people protesting in Iraq against exactly this.
It would be interesting to get an opinion from the Basra Shiite community on this one. If they are rejoicing, then we’re good. If not...
