Not defending the Holy Father in any sense of the word, but please read what Francis’ said, in quotes, vs what the author says he meant. Author may be reading a LITTLE BIT too much between the lines.

“What the hell happened to the Catholics. It sounds like the Last Days are upon us.”
*************
The more pertinent question is: “What has been done to the Catholics?”

We have not changed. We have been given a leader like Obama, selected by the freemasons to destroy our institution. As long as we have Jesus Christ in the Eucharist it does not matter what type of martyrdom we have to experience. He did not come down from the Cross because he died for me. Why should we expect anything less?

Sadly, you be wrong . . . but personal experience is apparently the only thing you’ll believe.

“Moving from the Virgin Mary, to Mary mother of Earth, to Gaia is not a stretch.”
*************
Why is it the case that sectarian christians find it acceptable to insult the mother of Jesus Christ? Do they think they will get some sort of award or cheap prize at the final judgement for every insult they have hurled against the Mother of God?

Think of it this way. If Catholics are correct that the Blessed Mother was preserved free from Original Sin from the moment of conception by the Grace of God (’my spirit has rejoiced in God my savior”) to be a fitting vessel to host the Incarnate God in her womb, that she was the perfect Christian, that she chosen by God to be the mediatrix of the treasure house of God’s Grace that flows from the life, death, and resurrection of God made man Jesus Christ, do you think as your eternal judgement draws near it is a good plan to insult and denigrate the executor of the Divine Will?

Is it from ignorance or from malice?

[“Climate change is a global problem with grave implications: environmental, social, economic, political and for the distribution of goods. It represents one of the principal challenges facing humanity in our day,” Francis wrote in his second encyclical. Francis added: “Enforceable international agreements are urgently needed, since local authorities are not always capable of effective intervention… International and regional conventions do exist, but fragmentation and the lack of strict mechanisms of regulation, control and penalization end up undermining these efforts… What is needed, in effect, is an agreement on systems of governance for the whole range of so-called ‘global commons.’”]

Think this is close to making all authority under one roof.

{“Rigidity and imbalance fuel one another in a vicious circle,” he said. “And these days, the temptation to rigidity has become so apparent.” “Tradition is not static, it’s dynamic,” Francis added

God changes not and His word is the 'same yesterday and today'! Trying not to read more into it than what is there.

Take care........

a reminder.....there is one true God.....the pope is not the catholic church...he does not represent us nor more than obama represented us......

the pope is merely human, not God....

Actually, it really sounds like C. S. Lewis’ last book in the Chronicles of Narnia series, when Christianity and Muslims merge their religions into a common “universal” religion - and that was over 60-70 years ago.

You are reading into what I am writing. We use terms like Mother Earth and Father Sun. We already see the Pope accepted a crucifix where Jesus was nailed to a hammer and sickle implying dying for the workers. Mohamed twisted scripture to suit the needs of Arab pagans, so is it a stretch to say that Francis might twist scripture to suit a pagan one world agenda?

This was also shocking. Also we got 14 new families, joining our Lutheran church last year, who were previously Catholics. That was because of the priests raping kids. My brother in law totally stopped going to Catholic church or ANY church because of the rapes.

MUNICH, April 20 - The day after Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger became Pope Benedict XVI, some headlines were already drawing attention to a supposedly dark moment in his past, when the first German pope in 482 years was briefly a member of the Hitler Youth.

“White Smoke, Black Past,” was the headline Wednesday in Israel’s Yediot Aharonot. “From Hitler Youth to the Vatican,” was the way The Guardian put it. Even before his election as pope on Tuesday, The London Sunday Times carried an article with the headline, “Papal Hopeful Is a Former Hitler Youth.”

Does Benedict XVI harbor a secret past, which includes sympathy for the Nazis? That would seem to be the question implied by those headlines, which were echoed in many private conversations.

It is well established, and readily acknowledged by the pope in his autobiography, that for a time in 1941 and 1942, Joseph Ratzinger, then a teenager, was in the Nazi Party’s main organization for indoctrinating young people.

It is only 19° and dropping in the backyard so far this morning. Was 14° yesterday here. Albuquerque.

Was hoping to come to Texas soon. Do so fishing in Lake Livingston or Sam Rayburn. Maybe spring.

The Catholic Church has been infiltrated since at least 1962***

Changed to The Christian Church has been infiltrated since at least the third century.

Which was when the Catholic denomination tried to take over the Christian Church and declare that Catholicism started 300 years before.

I don’t see “Blessed are the trees, for they will add smoke flavor when made into chips. We should cut some down.

“That’s what he said I think. There’s more”

Chapter and verse please.
