Actually, a blunder by Republicans before Trump, when Republicans were into patronage and vote trading while Democrats were into socialism.

If they are successful, then the Dems have said President Trump was not legit and that all the Judges appointed will be removed.
Even with the senate voting on them?
They were not strictly Trump appointees. They had to be voted on and approved by the Senate.

The Supreme Court cannot remove a President, or any elected official, or any appointed judge. Impeachments have to go through the House.
We have a lot of issues to contend with right now. We do not need to add spurious speculations to the mix.
