So, conservatives, including me, have long complained about the “happy holidays” thing and other efforts to take Christ out of Christmas such as public school pageants where only the blandest, most secular carols are allowed. Trump accurately noted this problem a few years back and declared, “We’re going to start saying Merry Christmas again.” Predictably the left went nuts and claimed that the war on Christmas didn’t exist and never existed and no one had ever had a problem with anyone saying Merry Christmas and that whole thing was typical right wing paranoia and fake news. And now they’re proving their case by blasting Gorsuch for saying Merry Christmas.
