Because that is how Frolls Roll, they have to chip away at victories as they want a few “scalps” and then leave the apparatus alone so they can get back to their real motivation...

To expand on that excellent point just a bit: Who does DJT trust? If he were to have been conspiring with Russia would he be doing it through peripheral figures like Carter Page and George Papadopolous? Or would be be more likely to have used — oh, I don’t know — Rudy Giuliani (just to pick a name)?
And let’s not forget the clumsy way the FBI attempted to roll George P. up in a currency violation (the $10,000 ‘fee’ that an intermediary handed him for consultation). Had P not left the money in Greece he would be sitting in jail right now and the Dems would be incrementally closer to making an apparent case against Trump.

If the FBI wanted to investigate just the four people, they could have done it with regualar warrants. These people were just used to get a FISA warrant with its two-op surveillance permission. Nearly every person in the Trump circle, up to and including Trump, could be caught up in it. They were probably already being spied on, but the evildoers in the FBI, CIA etc. needed something to make it legal.
A very, very long prison term is in order. This must not be allowed to pass.
And we have been given a gift. An opportunity to right the ship. The question: are we smart enough to realize it and affect change. Answer: apparently not. If not then it is only a matter of time before the system collapses like it did for the Roman Empire. Maybe a couple of generations.
The good news is that a lot of us are paying attention so maybe there is hope.
Ultimately the Ukraine corruption will make the house bank crooks look like pikers.

Why would I believe a guy that has evidence of a criminal act being performed at the highest level and the perp is still collecting a salary? Rosenstien and Comey signed false FISA applications and performed a fraud on a corrupt judge, Rod is collecting his retirement at this moment. Comey is making the rounds on TV rather than sitting in jail.
