the “freedom” to frame-up citizens and political opponents is that of a dictatorship, tyranny or a communist surveillance state.

Mebbe Chris Wallace could clarify to us deplorables exactly which it is the Deep State thinks of itself as?

Have a skeleton or two in your closet Chrissy? Such a pathetic loser are you. Find a new line of work since you’ve effed up the one you have.

Chris Wallace has this 180 degrees wrong. The Deep State and corrupt Democrats (but I am being redundant) brought the full power of the previous Executive branch, past and current corrupt bureaucracy, and tainted Intelligence Community to bear against a political rival and outsider, Donald J Trump. Chris Wallace is acting in cooperation with those efforts and fully “Mockingbird compliant”.

RE: "I had heard the Newseum was closing its doors fue to lack of patronage. Any confirmation of that?

Ricky is reading about that article as we speak. Here is the link in digital form.

Fair and balanced in no way applies to him.

And whatever happened to "We report, you decide"? You seldom knew the personal opinions of the newscasters on FOX when they first came on the scene. That has changed radically over the years.

Except in the cases of commentators, that is. Remember Hannity and Colmes? But they were not labeled as straight news, but news with commentary.

Is that a question along the lines of all Asians (supposedly) look alike? As in, all Bolsheviks look/act alike?

Well then they need to be educated. They think too much of themselves. I remember reading recently that suggested that the 1st Amendment free speech clause should only be given to the Press.

It is clear that the Press cannot be trusted absolutely with absolute power and that they need to be checked by someone or something. This is why the 1st Amendment applies to EVERYONE including the President.

“He has done everything he can to undercut the media......”. No, Chrissy! The media, including yourself have abdicated your responsibility for honesty and integrity. YOU and your ilk have debauched yourselves in the eyes of majority American Patriots. You are no longer believed. Trump is only pointing out the obvious truth. You are all proven liars. Don’t like it? Cut the crap!

Wallace recalled that retired admiral Bill McRaven, a navy Seal for 37 years, had described Trump’s sentiment as maybe “the greatest threat to democracy in my lifetime” because, unlike even the Soviet Union or Islamic terrorism, it undermines the US constitution.

Wallace is sneaky in his use of half truths...Wallace negleced to menton the 'navy seal' was a close friend of deep state thug John Brennan...

William McRaven, open letter to President Donald Trump, August 16, 2018[27]

"In August 2018, McRaven expressed support for former CIA Director John O. Brennan, whose security clearance had recently been revoked by the Trump Administration. He authored an open letter to President Donald Trump in The Washington Post entitled "Revoke my security clearance, too, Mr. President", in which he affirmed his regard for Brennan, his former colleague, and offered criticism of the decisions and personal behavior of President Trump.[27] McRaven said of Brennan, "He is a man of unparalleled integrity, whose honesty and character have never been in question ... except by those who don't know him."

I can never understand why so many posters have such visceral and emotional reactions - it's just war. Wallace - and his fellow travelers like Schiff, Nadler, Rosenstein, Horowitz, Weissman, Feinsten, et al - are simply domestic combatants.

They use the power of the press to both advance their cause of single, Bolshevik rule, and simultaneously attack and dispirit their enemy. Um, that would be traditional heritage Americans.

Same thing happened in the French revolution. The popular image of a peasant uprising provides an excellent cover what actually occurred, which were the same cosmopolitans doing the same things to undermine public order. Again, using the power of the press, the ground work was prepared by writers and other purveyors of propaganda.

What press? We have no mainstream press. We have a propaganda arm of the Democrat party.

The press has such high ratings and is not aligned against Trump. I wonder what percentage of their first page is true?

If he wants to talk about unprecented attacks on the first ammendment, why doesn't he report on the outright censorship tech giants are engaged in?

They censor, ban anyone who doesn't agree with the left (Praeger U being just one of many examples.).

Yesterday they were even taking down posts covering the IG report. And notice how it didn't get MSM coverage like the Russian hoax and show trials did.

Then again that (covering Big Tech censorship) would be reporting real news- something Wallace doesn't do. He "reports" what he's told to report by his handlers.

And POTUS is exactly right:

FAKE news is THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.

“After all, Lincoln suspended the writ of habeas corpus, a power given explicitly to Congress, and his administration arrested more than 14,000 political prisoners and suppressed more than 300 newspapers.

Lincoln may not have signed any of the orders that led to the actions taken against critical journalists, but he was ultimately responsible for these restraints since the First Amendment expressly prohibits Congress from abridging freedom of the press—and it implies that the president has no jurisdiction over publishing.”
