I have no problem with bona fide SERVICE dogs. But “companion” dogs, “comfort animals”, and “support” dogs do NOT belong in restaurants or food stores. Nor any other retail stores except pet stores.
A woman I know, takes her little foo-foo everywhere she goes, claiming everywhere, that it’s her support dog. When I asked her if she really had a certificate to prove it, she said, “Yes, I do. I got it from a lady in California. She makes driver’s licenses, too.” (True story. She’s not too bright).
I LOVE dogs. Scammers -— not so much.

You could buy a zapper. I like one called Dogchaser. It emits a high-pitched noise that is an irritant to most dogs. You can keep it in your pocket while pushing the button.
