There is plenty of resistance to securing the border and enforcing the law from people wearing R jerseys, too.

Flimsey Grahamnesty and Micro Rubio are still working on that final amnesty to turn the USA into North Mexico.

Good analysis - am expecting the civil unrest to steadily ramp up over the coming months. A porous border was a boon to smuggling of all sorts, in both directions, and as a way for the rulers down there to dodge being responsive to their citizens by having a way of getting them out of the country over to the more prosperous US, which also helped prop up their regime with the money sent back. That helped keep general dissatisfaction and political pressure off the regime. Now the equation is changed, the old status quo getting shook up and they are now getting faced with situations they are not used having to deal with. Events are going to outstrip their puny abilities to cope with them.

In all the Europe including Russia and Turkey they only kill half that many.
But India for example kills twice as many as Mexico.

There seems to be a disconnect between the event and what is displays about the marauders capabilities and the last line from the state government.

Coahuila state Gov. Miguel Angel Riquelme told local media four of the dead were police officers killed in the initial confrontation, and that several municipal workers were missing.

He said the armed group stormed the town of 3,000 residents in a convoy of trucks, attacking local government offices and prompting state and federal forces to intervene. Ten alleged members of the Cartel of the Northeast were killed in the response.

Videos of the shootout posted on social media showed burned out vehicles and the facade of Villa Union’s municipal office riddled with bullets. Rapid gunfire could be heard in videos along with frantic people telling loved ones to stay indoors. A damaged black pickup truck with the C.D.N. of the Cartel del Noreste, or Cartel of the Northeast, written in white on its door is seen on the street.

Security forces will remain in the town for several days to restore a sense of calm, the governor said.

“These groups won’t be allowed to enter state territory,” the government of Coahuila said in a statement.
