This flick sure is getting a lot of press. I'm going to have to put aside my distaste for Matt Damon and go see it.
I wonder if Damon had any idea he's wind up starring in one of the best conservative films that Hollywood has released in a generation?
Liberals HATE that this film is a hit!
My favorite this year.
Ford v Ferrari is the climate change horror film nobody needed (Libs triggered)
Bloomberg Reviewer Obsessed with Lack of Diversity in 'Ford v Ferrari'
The movie’s worth it, especially when the usual suspects on the left give it negative reviews.
Matt Damon as Carroll Shelby? What idiot came up with that?
It’s worthy seeing especially if it ticks off the Left I may go again.
I saw the movie last week - couldn’t connect with Matt Damon as Carroll Shelby.
The racing scenes were a weak point; at one point during the 24 hour race, the GT-40 brakes were glowing red even though the driver was accelerating and they were driving in a steady rain. Also, I don’t think that drivers fighting for the lead have time to glare at each other for long periods of time while doing 200mph. I did like the fact that the movie gave Ken Miles recognition for the outstanding driver that he was.
Seen it two times. I will see it again.
No f bombs. No sex scenes. No homo erotic. No diversity. The left will hate it. A good movie. My wife enjoyed it because all of above.
It’s a good movie. You won’t regret watching it.
Well, it was either him or snoop dog so..............
The same one who came up with Alec Baldwin as Jimmy Doolittle.
I've been trying to think of an actor who could pull off that role in a convincing manner. Honestly, I can't think of anyone. Shelby was a larger-than-life character, even back in the day when he rubbed shoulders with the likes of Steve McQueen. That's a tough role for anyone to attempt.
The good news is, the movie is nicely balanced so that it doesn't rely too heavily on Damon - the movie doesn't seem centered on him. The supporting cast is really good and they have a chance to show it, and the period details are bang-on. Some are CGI (the mid-'60s Le Mans grandstands), some are skilled set design (minor stuff like the model kits on Ken Miles' son's bedroom wall).
Besides, it could've been worse. They could've cast Clooney.
I hear you, but I am a Motörhead from way back. When I Was 10 I idolized Shelby. I took my 12 year old son to this movie today. It was really well done. I was worried about language and sex. To my surprise, only one F Bomb!
The movie depicted men as MEN and a DAD AS A DAD!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved it. Bonus, it is a true story. BTW, this is the first movie that I have seen in 10 years in a theater.
Do not hesitate to go see this movie. Whether your a car enthusiast or not probably will have an impact on your rating of the movie, but I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
Good flick.
WB
It works, believe me
This has turned out to be a good year for movies. In addition to this one, we have “Midway” and the Clint Eastwood directed “Richard Jewell”
Wow, men being men is news today.
Amazing.
Leftists being triggered by men being men is just plain hilarious.
he knew how to wear a hat....
I think Joker, Midway and this are best American movies this year so far.
