Saw the film, loved it. Always a big Ford/Shelby fan. I even got his autograph at a car show in the 1990’s.

One thing seemed really odd as far as reality. They had a few scenes (at least one anyway) with race car drivers conversing while operating their cars.

No way in H E double hockey sticks can you hear anyone while inside the cockpit of a running race car of that vintage.

Shelby assembled the first Cobra at Dean Moon’s shop in Santa Fe Springs, California, a stone’s throw from my home town of La Mirada.

Backed in the day I worked at the Hughes facility in Santa Fe Springs. Right next to the dairy farm.
