Lots of dems must resent hell outta this
We aren’t talking about turning out folks based on any guiding political philosophy. The people that actually decide elections are the dumbest 10% of eligible voters that somehow manage to vote, most ‘swing voters.’ If someone is perceived to look like them, a certain % will turn out, just like they didn’t for a corrupt fat old white woman. The difference in minority turnout between Obama and H. Clinton would have won the election for Clinton.

He’s Obama’s preferred choice
Throughout 2007, Crooked Hillary was cruising to her erstwhile coronation as the Dem nominee. Despite the presence of a black candidate, the blacks were remaining loyal to the wife of the man they considered to be “America’s first black President”. But in December of 2007 everything changed:
Oprah went down to South Carolina.
In that one trip, Oprah Winfrey delivered the black vote over to Barack Hussein Obama.
The black vote is a block vote. If you can control it, you can dictate who will be the Demonrat nominee. The Obamas are capable of controlling the black vote. If they really commit to supporting Duval Patrick, then he will be the Demonrat nominee.
The only question is: will they commit to Patrick? They haven’t committed to anyone yet. Not in the 2016 race, and so far no one in the 2020 race.
Perhaps the reason Patrick is jumping in at this late date is because he does indeed have the Obama’s commitment.
We should know very soon if this is the case.

The dems have realized that their 20 or so odd “candidates” are a failure. The dems know they can’t win with butterbut, kamala, de blobio, biden, castro, or Big Squaw from the East.
I can’t imagine any reason why deval patrick could even dream that he has a remote chance of becoming president of this country.
Patrick is full of self-delusion if he thinks he has a better chance than all the others.
Whoever the democrat party picks as its candidate, the media will instantly change that person into a talented genius, free of corruption, and ready to transform the country with the most progressive solutions to all our problems. A second God, every bit as divine as bammy. Free of sin.
Deval is Cory Booker with hair, and a somewhat more laid back style of bulls**t delivery.
A do-little governor who worked his way up through the Dem hierarchy doing black-first programs in prisons under Clinton, and a pal of Obama’s. I think that they shared the same political adviser (Axelrod?) and that the phrase “Yes we can” was first tested out with Deval, and later adopted by Obama.
