I like Sundance, but he gets hyperbolic on occasion. This is wild conjecture. Trump has many enemies, some in the military, no doubt, but I don’t buy that the military is now on the coup wagon.
It is FAR beyond obvious by now that “Official Washington” cannot handle anyone not on the “team” looking into its actions over the past 60 years or so. Or more.
The corruption is obviously massive. So huge that “the folks back home” would be waiting with pitchforks for their “representatives.”
“Official Washington” needs to be dismantled. If some private entity had the sort of monopoly “Official Washington” has, “Official Washington” would have long ago broken it into a thousand pieces.

If you didn't have the right politics you'd have a hard time getting promoted if an Officer. Then you'd be forced out because of high year tenure (20 years or so). But if you had the right politics things were much easier.
