I think she would make a better senator than any of the squad.

What do we need to do to run her in the next democrat primary?

Oops, she’s dead.

I’ll get Alex Okrent working on her birth certificate, stat.

Oops, he’s dead.

There’s this Seth Rich guy. He can send out an email blast.

Oops, he’s dead.

Don’t worry. We’ll find another useful idiot Democrat operative.

The animal rights crowd is really bad down here in Florida. [What they are really about is limiting property rights but that won’t fly on the ballot so they use animals as their foot in the door.]

I guarantee that the move taken in Argentina had little to do with Argentina but was always considered a launchpad for shots aimed at the US constitution.

see

The ruling doesn’t turn Sandra loose on the streets, mind you. It merely transports her from the zoo to a sanctuary. Is that liberty? She’s an adult “person,” after all. At 28, she’s more than old enough to drive and purchase liquor. Maybe she’d rather be living the high life in downtown Buenos Aires, flitting around the big city like a hairy Marlo Thomas. Yet champions of “non-human person” rights think nothing of inhibiting her freedom to do so.
Sandra’s case demonstrates that “non-human persons” can only be elevated so far. In order to equate them with real people, the status of people must be lowered on the other end of the pulley. Hence, liberty is no longer anything more than captivity under more comfortable conditions. The ramifications for “human persons” ought to be obvious. If being kept and provided for is “liberty” enough for Sandra, then why not for you and me?
It’s true that no court in the United States has yet granted personhood to a non-human, but it may be only a matter of time. Remember that in Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court conceded that its decision must be reversed if it is ever concluded that the human unborn are “persons.” To defend the legality of abortion, liberal judges have since had to play dumb about the most elementary facts of life. Their problem may now be solved, simply by adopting a pseudo-scientific paradigm that empowers them to decide who is or is not a “person.”
Justice Stephen Breyer advocates the use of foreign precedent in interpreting American law, and lots of other liberal judges agree with him. Next time the question of legal personhood comes before the U.S. Supreme Court, Sandra’s case could actually be used to justify changing the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments’ definition of “person,” to the exclusion of whole classifications of actual human beings. ...
It’s no coincidence that the same Peter Singer who wrote Animal Liberation also co-authored Should the Baby Live?: The Problem of Handicapped Infants. The argument for legally treating animals like people is really just a thinly-veiled excuse for treating people like animals.

Naples Man Arrested at Bank Claims He’s CIA Director, Half Orangutan
Naples News ^ | February 19, 2012
Posted on 2/20/2012, 2:37:33 PM by nickcarraway
A Naples man is accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after an incident Friday outside a bank, where he told deputies he was half orangutan and needed to call the “Fusion Center” to ask about his monkey blood.
Collier County sheriff’s deputies arrested 51-year-old Mark Loescher, of the 1100 block of Reserve Way Boulevard, outside the Wells Fargo Bank at 5094 Airport-Pulling Road N. A woman there said a man in a green car pulled out a gun after she told him his vehicle was smoking.
Deputies said they responded to the bank shortly before 5 p.m. to find Loescher still sitting in the driver’s seat of the green car in front of the bank. A woman was in the front passenger seat.
Deputies pulled Loescher over and had difficulty making him comply with their orders to exit the vehicle and place his hands on the window, get off his phone and get on the ground.
In addition to monkey blood, Loescher repeatedly told deputies he was the director of the CIA and later told them he was Elvis Presley’s brother and a good friend of “President Bush” with whom he shares an attorney.
Deputies reported they found a gun and bullets in Loescher’s vehicle but no identification to show a connection to the CIA. Loescher’s passenger was released.
Loescher was taken to the Naples Jail Center for booking.

... he or she will just have to wait on line with other persons having human rights wanting to come to this country ...

Too late, she already claimed refugee status and has passed thru quarantine and relocated to Florida, where she is greeting other orangutans for the first time.

You are exactly right... this is part of a scheme by an animal rights legal group called Afada that wants to shut down circuses, zoos, you name it, a d they fully intend to expand this well beyond just great apes.

Sandra will be able to lead a more social life

Orangutans are not noted for being sociable. But whatever, let's virtue signal.

Oprah ( who has strongly said she won’t run) would’ve been 100 times more saleable a candidate as any of the liars commies nuts and buffoons the dnc has now. And the orwngaton — while not a nbc and therefore constitutionally ineligible - would Also be a much more saleable candidate than any of the ones dnc is fielding now. At least the ape has never lied about its ancestry or nationality or religion or immigration status or sociable security number or loyalties or anything else

That doesn’t mean anyone but the law firm knows the ulterior motive... I imagine the caregivers are sincere and just want to help the animals and they probably gave no thought to the motives of the lawyers, or the impact this sort of thinking will have on poor countries or cities whose zoos will always be subject to being considered “inferior” to those of rich countries and therefore undeserving of having any animal desired by exhibitors in wealthy places. For them the ends may even justify the means if they can get their hands on a prized specimen to ‘save’ the species... but have no idea what the blowback will be years from now with activist judges.
