The only reason to protect them is from retribution, these leakers have already moved on because of their pattern of leaks.
Mitt is perhaps the biggest loser the GOP has.
He’s a couple patties short of a Big Mac.
Then how do we know they are real?
Milt is one of my favorite Democrats.
Trump Jr’s favorite democrat.
So it seems that he feels that the fundamental right to face your accuser is optional. It’s as if the foundations of our legal system are becoming mere suggestions at this point.
Is Romney trying to prove that he is, in fact, everyone’s favorite Democrat?
Mitt, what’s your view on the 6 amendment?
Eric Ciaramella is not a whistleblower, he is a CIA operative working for a cabal of current and former intelligence officials and members of Congress to spy on the President of the United States with the objective of removing him from office.
Former CIA director John Mclaughlin let that cat out of the bag recently during a public forum, sitting alongside John Brennan. In response to a reporter’s question he not only thanked God for the deep state, but can be heard starting to use the word “operative” to describe Ciaramella before catching himself and changing up.
Absolutely not!!!!!!!!! If they are TRUE whistle-blowers, they should be protected from retaliation, but anonymous whisle-blowers are simply conviction by accusation. There is NO WAY to protect yourself from it. NOTHING is more un-American than that notion. That is an insurmountable tool in the quiver of the left that is utterly immoral and power hungry.
Once again, Romney confirms his lack of morality. Shame does not darken an evil soul.
His sole reason for being in the Senate seems to be to give liberal media bi partisan red meat. Well done Utah...
No one pushing him about his views on Snowden I bet
Worst idea EVER
While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) reacted to calls to reveal the whistleblowers identity by stating that whistleblowers, especially those speaking about government action, should be allowed to remain confidential.
Romney said, My own view is that whistleblowers, particularly those that are blowing whistles on action within the government, should be allowed to remain confidential.
CORRECTION: Pierre Delecto(D-UTAH).
What a horrible nominee he was in 2012. He’s so upset that he’s not President and President Trump is.
Go away Pierre Delecto - what a wierdo.
To bad they are NOT whistleblowers.
Good old Milt.
Everyone shoots them self in the foot from time to time. He just reloads so fast.
Take it out of the impeachment context. As certainly happens, lets say a whistleblowers complaint results in a person being charged with a crime. So youre thinking the constitutional right to confront your accuser needs to go out window because.... you hate Trump. Is that about right, genius?
Isn’t there anyone in the RNC with enough sense to tell this a$$hole to SHUT THE HELL UP????!!!!
