One side won’t be happy.
The issue will be the blue cities vs red countryside.
The expect the flashpoint will be gun grabbing. State and Federal LEO will side with the Dems against local communities.
There might well be a communist revolution if we keep not doing anything.
For a brief time it may start out like that but it will end up being the coasts and middle fighting it out with huge organized armies. The question for the middle America is are you ready to form your own government and fight against the USA? The stars and bars will be the enemy flag. Can you handle that?
.……….understood, but with all due respect, back in 1860 it was brother vs brother, son vs father, Union officers converting to Confederate and visa versa and on and on. My great, great grandfather, his brother and his son rode off after Sunday afternoon dinner just 7 miles from where I sit deep in the heart of Texas. Only one came back years later. No internet. NO phones to communicate with soldiers either. So, in my opinion, families had it just as bad back then and left just as much behind as we would today. Perish the thought!
I wonder at times why a serious assassination attempt has not been mounted then it occurs to me that ssuch may have happened, perhaps more than once. and if one is nipped in the bud we may never hear about. One known to be killed or captured would become a “martyr” for the Left and the ice would be broken. Failed or no, if it is publicly known it would inspire amateur attempts.
Sure it can and it will. The Blue coasts will get their country side under control and the Red states will get their cities under control. Then huge armies will form. Then it will be a conventional slug fest.

2 main causes:
1. Redefinition of words and phrases. People cannot communicate it there are not absolutes of definitions.
2. Intentionally lie about or not teach history, all the while injecting incorrect or invalid opposite opinion as to the meanings, reason, origins of those involved (demonize)
The starter foundation:
Moral character is lost. The 7 deadly sins are now personal and societal goals instead of what to avoid.
Jobs, mortgages, car payments, kids in college and still in high school, weekend soccer practice and Friday night football games with the kid....

And too many of those jobs are either government connected in some way, mortgages backed by government loans, higher education funded by taxpayer loans, etc. They can’t afford to rock the boat. Plus there are just too many go-along’s to get along amongst us. Whichever way our republic (or perhaps former republic tilts), the general populace doesn’t have the will to change what they grumble about. Our system of law enforcement is compromised, the military is gutted, the morality of the majority of our society will be concentrating on the next Apple gadget or sports hero.
Well if I was someplace and Schiff or Nadler walked by me I would end up in jail. Things are building and getting closer to a boil over. Between NOBODY getting prosecuted for spygate and Trump om the brink of impeachment for making a phone call I think we aren’t that far getting violent.
The commies waited to pull this crap until the last of the Vietnam draftees were too old to do much about it.

The evil West Coast witch, Pelosi, believes she is equal to the President because the branches are co-equal.
She must have glugged too much of her Napa wine because she is only the speaker of the house for the majority. There is also a speaker for the minority (McCarthy).
Now if she still had two brain cells left she would see there is no President for the minority; just one President for us all.
To boil all the fat off the problem; Pelosi’s ego has outrun her competence by a long long shot. Very common in life-long civil servants. Another good reason for term limits.
I think anyone could understand the dems fighting back against legislation they don’t believe in. The republicans did when we had a dem President. To pull these fake hoax investigations to handicap the President is not professional or ethical. It’s criminal.

I will point out that there are independent groups that will go into the cities and start massive fires with a home made version of napalm. Entire neighborhoods will be in flames, night after night.
There may be two peaks to the violence.
1 - the run up to Election Day
2 - the run up to Inaguration Day

The only thing anyone (other than Trump) is doing is saying words or invoking some procedure. Those things mean absolutely nothing to the left. Their minds can’t be changed. They will revolt and it will most likely be when it’s apparent to them that Trump will win, whenever that is.
