I had a FReeper tell me this year that government pensions are a great thing and anyone who speaks out against them is just jealous.

Just because they can retired with full benefits in their mid-50s and you have to wait until late 60s or even 70 to access 401k without penalty let alone Social Security, well, you “chose wrong” when it came to career paths.

When people in the civil service of America, the media, or members of Congress attack the people of the nation, with demeaning stereotypes, ascribing to them base intents in order to keep their certainty, or ignorantly insult their true beliefs and aspirations, they are abdicating any claim to stewardship over this diverse nation. When they attempt to nullify the people’s choice of a leader, they are sewing the wind and will inevitably reap the whirlwind, unless they have enough sense to stop on time. The people know their enemies, and will not suffer their tormentors for long.
