I still say that President Trump should through administrative process and or executive order initiate an official United States militia. Simply recognize that any able-bodied man or woman or the age of 18 Mets enter into a short training program offered by the US Marshals service. Once certified, issue them an M4 rifle and high-capacity magazines along with a Beretta 92 and high-capacity magazines. Provide documentation an official ID card identifying them ass a special agent of the United States government protecting citizens from mass shootings. No powers to arrest or detain but authority to use high-capacity magazines and assault rifles in order to stop mass shootings. Issue several thousand of these special agent licenses in these anti-gun States where there are little rights for an average citizen to be armed.
