I'm sure there's meaning here I'm missing, but I do know one thing...as a younger guy, if you got caught smoking a Virginia Slim you were going to get your ass kicked!

I would not say that “JFK Jr. is alive” was necessarily a conservative viewpoint. Since there are a string of Q’s, it’s possible that the sign holder is making fun of the news media. Didn’t the “OK sign is racist” claim originate on the Q site?

Another possible motive is that the sign holder is likening Trump to JFK Jr. I would put JFK Jr. to the right of any of the Democrat candidates. One of Vernon Robinson’s campaign slogans was “Jesse Helms is back. And this time, he’s black.”

A less likely motive is that the sign holder believes that Hillary did away with JFK Jr. so she could run for the Senate. If true, she would have had him killed, no?

I’m sure there are other possible motives.

Especially in Coos Bay! It used to be a coastal working town, lumber mills and fishing boats. It's still a coastal town, but the lumber mills are mostly gone.
