My sense is the fbi & doj find out all the time what crooks are doing by “associating” with other shady characters.
There’s a story brewing in this Nevada marijuana-shop license business. Back in late 2018, they had around 460 applications for the initial licenses, but ONLY 61 were approved.
A lot of people grumbling...who got licenses approved, and who was disapproved. There’s no doubt that money was shuffled around to people who mattered....to ensure only a limited number of licenses were granted.
Some people have sarcastically pointed out that some of the shops approved....were basically porn shop-weed shop operations.
If we head an investigative journalists left, they’d dig into the state mechanism and find the folks who were bribed.

This is similar to when prohibition ended. Who became the distributors in some of the “3 tier” states. The same guys who were operating before it ended.
