Thanks for posting, BeauBo. I have been waiting, not so patiently to begin eating popcorn. Now is the time. Why? If the DOJ ask questions that have three qualities required, it is game full on. If not, the DOJ will admit they are just fishing and have nothing. The 1st is that, the DOJ already are convinced they have the evidence for the answer to the question. The 2nd is that the DOJ is convinced there is evidence proving Brennan also knows the answer. 3rd is that the DOJ is convinced that that Brennan knows that the DOJ already has the answer to the question. If Brennan answers a question truthfully, it only confirms the DOJ’s position, unless there is a “Hail Mary” truthful answer the DOJ did not account for. If Brennan answers untruthfully, it is perjury. At this point, barring the “Hail Mary”, there is nothing Brennan can do other than confirm the DOJ conclusions or commit perjury. Since the DOJ already “knows” Brennan “knows” the answer any response such as pleading the 5th, amnesia or such confirms the DOJ position. From Brennan’s position, perjury is probably going to look the preferred outcome at this stage. Let the reveal party begin.
Great news — former CIA Director being questioned by DOJ — wow. Doesn’t matter what happens in the interview, and Brennan knows it, becuase the fact that he is being investigated alone has broken a line. Great news.
