You may be right. Horowitz, Huber, Barr and Durham have done nothing to punish the Deep State so far.
If Barr is protecting the Deep State and doesn’t fight this battle for us, we’re done. Game over. The Deep State will see it as a complete victory and there will be no stopping them.
Our great experiment with democracy was good while it lasted. But the people decided that promises of free stuff was more important to them than self-governance and liberty.
The politicization and weaponization of the agencies may be irreversible. The only way to correct the abuses is to punish the abuses. Set strict standards for accountability and impose consequences for violations of integrity. And that’s not being done.
Your assessment, in my opinion, is correct. What the future holds is uncertain at best. We will just have to play the hand we have been dealt. I can only say that I will never surrender and go into a camp, Hillary’s or others. I know full what the other option is, but be that as it may.
