Austin just keeps getting more and more liberal, so expect the red ink to increase exponentially. A few data points:
In 2000, GWB carried Travis County by 5 while winning statewide by 22.
In 2004, Lurch(who served in Vietnam) carried Travis County by 14 while losing statewide by 23.
In 2014, Abortion Barbie carried Travis County by 30 while losing statewide by 20.
In 2018, Puto O’Rourke carried Travis County by a whopping 50 points while narrowly losing statewide by 3.

If Austin taxpayers are going have to pay for a power plant run on biomass fuel, the biomass that should be used first is Mayor Steve Adler and the rest of the People’s Socialist Kakistocracy of Austin City Council.
