Way back in the dark ages, there were “reform schools” and residential facilities for “delinquent children”. There were special classrooms for “emotionally disturbed students”
Shooters have little hesitation going to schools precisely because they are gun free zones. The policies put forth by the anti-gunners are directly responsible for these mass shootings. You don’t see mass shootings in police stations or at the NRA headquarters, or at shooting ranges. Why might that be? It is because these sick people are just crazy, they are not stupid. They understand very well that if they want to succeed in whatever sick thing they are going to attempt, it requires that nobody be shooting back at them. So they avoid places where people can shoot back at them. This is logic that a five-year-old can understand; why can’t the anti-gunners?

If American children today are terrorized by the fact that people own guns then most of them would have stroked out if they’d have walked into my bedroom when I was a kid. I had guns propped up in every corner.
In Nicolle’s world, those children are “safe” because only the government has guns.....
My kids are not terrified, they all learned how to shoot early in life.
This is more about the phobias their parents teach them.
The stand a better chance of drowning in the bathtub than getting shot in a mass shooting.
Try teaching them reality and not making them phobic puppets of snowflake parents.

I was thinking today about something historical that I feel is intrinsically related. Lord Chamberlain’s pathetic ‘negotiations’ with Hitler were the prelude to thousands of young people dying in the battles to stop Hitler. Families lost their sons, and families lost their fathers - but Chamberlain and his allies in the affectatious British aristocracy lost only their ego-driven stature. His inability to see reality led to much bloodshed, tears, and heartache.
Uninformed, but nonetheless egotistical and narcissistic people, like Chamberlain and Nicole Wallace, can hurt many people in the context of their self-absorbed ignorance.

Of course, a lot of the mental health treatments will involve deprogramming and lessons in logic, so that won’t be too popular with the progs.

School policies brought on by politics Insisting that mentally ill children should be put in normal school setting because it would be good therapy for this student is bullsh##. It alienates them more. Being mindless to the behavior and the violence of these students and allowing this to continue leads to more of the same
