Actually, he knows he’s not protected. The Deep State needs a distraction from the coup and McCabe won that prize. He’s accused of leaking during the Obama admin. This has literally nothing to do with the coup.
He’s already been paid to keep his mouth shut. He doesn’t dare take a plea deal now. Epstein serves as a handy reminder.
