I watched their meeting. It was very civil. I think they were surprised to learn that Cruz had tried to get some legislation through to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and mentally ill, by enforcing agencies to report them and punishing those that lie on the application. Basically what’s already supposed to happen but isn’t enforced.
That’s the thing, the Democrats don’t want to enforce what’s already there, they want to criminalize legal gun industry and owners.

The 2A is the Supreme LAW of the Land. Anybody who loves the law abides by the Constitution. Cruz loves the Constitution and the law that flows from it.
If Libs want to outlaw guns, all they have to do is pass a Constitutional amendment revoking 2A. That is the lawful way to do it. It’s as simple as that.

God has been taken out of the picture and replaced by the concept of “mental illness” that supposedly can be dealt with by the medical field.
My wife, at least a 6th generation Texican, says she is very disappointed in Ted Cruz and that if he wants to represent Hollywood and New York City he should move to one of those.
All the GOP needs to say is that they are only interested in ideas at work. If gun consfication works, then prove it. Take all the guns away form Chicagoians and monitor for a year. Screw emaothing! Screw your fake crocodile tears for murdered children when your party not only exterminate 1000 time more baby’s in a day then all the school shootings in a year, bring us something that works or piss off because all liberal ideas are proven failures!
