Dubya and Obama achieved that goal.

That’s true. The vast majority of illegals have a crash pad even if it’s a dozen to an apartment or living in a garage. Very few are urban campers.

So, I guess the politicians figure the problem with street sleepers will solve itself if they keep dropping dead from ODs and disease. /s...sorta

The US is not a democracy. It’s a Constitutional Republic, based on Judeo-Christian principles along with some elements of democracy.

As a new US citizen, you should have learned that.

Conditions in Mejico are vastly superior.

Go South Young Man! Old Man! Huddled Masses!

Hi-Ho, Plata y Oro!!

Won't work. Mexico enforces strict laws against people who enter their country illegally.

Malach,

2 issues as I see it, from “read[ing] about it in the news.”

1. Some folks may be not be dangerous to others, but are not capable of taking care of themselves. Thus is it “humane” to let them live on the streets and through their open air spreading of their urine and feces, set up a health danger to others?

2. The “urban renewal” of the 1950’s and 60’s that demolished housing that was very low cost to individuals and thus denied them places to live?

And, from how you typed your answer, you and those “trying” with you were unable to find solutions?
