It apparently is not up to you.
I marvel at the gratuitously condescending (and off-topic) comments from such as you.
What investigative journalism have you done? Cassandra Fairbanks spent six hours at MCC after Jeffrey Epstein’s “suicide” in an attempt to get an employee to go on record; apparently only two other publications even sent someone in person!
For the record, I do not unquestioningly trust ANY publication - nor unquestioningly trust ANY poster on this forum.
That includes you.
I distrust, and verify.
Re: If she were to take an appointed position, she could be fired for any reason or no reason. Thats why she turned down the appointment.
No.
The U.S. Attorney job and the Associate AG both require confirmation by the Senate.
The President can fire her any time he wants to - from BOTH jobs.
We can only hope that is true.
Unfortunately, Trump does not impress me as a careless, stupid, or lazy man.
When I look at Trump's overall appointment record - both judicial and executive - I think I see a man who is deliberately appointing people who are center-left politically.
Although Trump's record on Circuit Court Judge nominees is pretty solid, almost one third of Trump's District Court Judge nominees have been approved by voice vote.
And, Trump's record on immigration-related appointments has been completely insane.
Almost every executive at the Department of Homeland Security is (or was) a Bush Family re-tread or someone Obama hired or promoted.
Is that an expression of your cognition? Is that an question to which you want an answer?
They mean precisely the opposite.
Too funny (as in "I think your response was too funny").... Why be so "parse"imonious (yep - in order to effect the joke, had to (as in "I had to") bounce it off a word (adjective) that doesn't properly describe the act of going all English teacher on someone the rest of us understood perfectly because we can grasp abstractions of the English language - even in run-on sentences - and even with improper punctuation - and maybe even with a few mispelings.
