The impetus was a new Texas law that takes effect soon that makes it clearer in state law that licensed handgun holders can carry weapons in churches, synagogues and other houses of worship.

It was pretty clear before this, in a legalese kind of way. b) 6. "churches are off-limits" |¦| i) b6 doesn't apply if they don't post the right signage (30.06 and 30.07)

So not directly clear, but pretty obvious what the intent/effect is!

I respect freedom of religion (even if you think you’re gonna own your own planet in the hereafter). However, this gun ban in church thing is moral cowardice - and exempting Barney Fife Tin-Badge from it compounds that cowardice.

The would be responsible for the people of a world;
to “own” is just too limiting a thought.

I too wish there was no policy against guns.
