LEGAL immigrants are not, and never have been, demonized by President Trump.
This unending BS about conflating LEGAL immigrants with the swarm of undocumented and uninvited invaders that continue to pour over our borders, and those on visitor visas who overstay their SPECIFIED dates during which they are guests of our country, must be called, and a demand that the two very different categories be kept separated when discussing the state of immigration to the US.
Yes, immigrants made America the great and shining city on the hill. But the ones who CONTRIBUTED to that greatness all came after fulfilling existing legal requirements, and promised to be self-supporting, not to become a burden on the welfare system of the United States or any of its political subdivisions, and were of worthy character. No criminals, or those suffering from contagious diseases in an active state, or with ideas of overthrow of the existing political structure of the United States or any of its territories.
I could picture Elizabeth Warren elbowing O’Rourke aside as they both lean across a victim’s casket and hit up the grieving family for campaign money.
The bodies haven’t even been buried yet and the Democrats already have their fundraising machines cranked up and operating at full speed.
