They’ve lost the battle for public opinion, so now must shut down other opinions.

I’m not thrilled that we’re still operating in an environment where public displays of support for Trump (especially bumper stickers) can cause serious disruptions - particularly at the workplace - for people. The 2016 election was the first time I saw such little support for EITHER CANDIDATE on bumper stickers and lawn signs (I’m in northeastern NJ - I understand much of “real America” had plenty); a very disturbing trend (though it certainly caused the enemedia to underestimate the depth of Trump’s support in many areas). They didn’t erode Trump’s support, just drove it underground.
