He is a total phony. He has never gone to divinity school, never had a church, never had a congregation, yet insists on being referred to as “Reverend” Sharpton. He was “ordained” by a DC preacher at age 10 and has maintained the lie ever since. From Tawan Brawley to the Duke Five, he consistently comes down on the wrong side of truth, but never apologizes for the harm he’s done. He is all about himself and the facetime he can get on TV...period.

Good point. Lists of boycott results when people don’t get the benefit of “protection” for “donation money” scare companies and others into submission.

They are told you’ll lose this percentage of profit when millions boycott you and march against you for being racist.

I understand that, of course. But if corporations refused to be intimidated by the attempted shakedowns (threat of black boycotts), they’d end up making MORE money because conservative consumer support would more than make up for the the loss of revenue from the activist boycotts. That’s how Chick-Fil-A grew and continues to grow despite the threats by libs of all stripes.

Telling shakedown artists like Al and Jesse and to go to hell can be good for business. Once businesses discover that and cease to be intimidated by the overplayed-to-death race card, the pimps will lose a big source of revenue and power.

Which brings us back to my original point — Trump’s fearlessness in confronting these criminal thugs could very well encourage others to do the same.

Sharpton’s involvement in the Brawley and other cases are well documented. Fewer know about the ‘Rockaway Five’.

Reggie Rivera was a police officer in the 100 Precinct in Rockaway Beach. One of the things that the Hispanic cop did was to ticket illegal van drivers. Reggie could be seen almost any day on Rockaway Beach Boulevard, stopping the illegal vans and ticketing their drivers.

A number of the drivers, most of them from Latin America, decided to get even with Rivera. Five of them got together and charged that Rivera had sexually assaulted them when he was in uniform and on duty.

The story hit the papers and Sharpton picked up their cause. He organized protest demonstrations each week. The protestors marched from the Hammels Houses to the 100 Precinct. Each Saturday the same Sharpton regulars yelled at the building. Everybody knew that Sharpton bused his demonstrators from place to place, paying them for their time.

Eventually, it was proven that the five van drivers lied. On some of the occasions, Rivera was not even on duty. He would have had to come to the Precinct in uniform and check out a patrol car without being on duty. That does not happen. Evidence was planted. Sharpton pushed the envelope.

Rivera was proven innocent and was transferred to another precinct. The illegal van drivers took over the streets, causing accidents and causing havoc on our streets.

Sharpton never apologized for defaming Rivera. It is not his way.
