My goodness, Ed Schmeltzer is incredible delusional.
Does he seriously think that impeaching Trump for the crime of being Trump is going to do anything to decrease support for him, even if the Democrats put on the greatest dog and pony show of their careers? Is he really so blind that he fails to see that the constant bullying of Trump is driving up his support and opening the eyes of people who were previously oblivious?

If there is an impeachment, Trump’s defense team will be able to track the money trail of the dossier back to Hillary.
Actually, if the Democrats proceed with an impeachment process after the Mueller testimony today, I think Trump’s hand will be strengthened to really deal with these a**holes.

Nancy Pelosi, even running on 60% remaining grey cells at 80% voltage, knows how this will play out more than Cortez and her cohorts. Trump might be very willing to allow content-free theatrics dominate the news cycle if it proves his point that this is a witch hunt by tantrum throwing two year olds.
What the writer of the piece does not seem to realize is that Dem rep candidates outside of safe districts stand to lose elections playing this game.
