The federal government has public employee unions in their agencies, but their powers are limited. Scott Walker made sure that state government unions, except for police and fire, were similarly limited.

There are others, such as teachers unions, which are leftists, and until that Supreme Court decision allowing non-union public workers not to pay dues, were presumably quite powerful, and maybe still are.
