No, the bottom line is those who control the law and legal system have no regard for the law except when it serves their purposes. Read in the New Testament where Jesus admonished the Disciples to sell his cloak and buy a sword if he did not have one.
However, I completely understand your frustration and will be right there with you and like-minded folks if the time should come. All I can say is hang in there and hope for the best but plan for the worst.
Bottom line: this is exactly why law enforcement and government officials need to do their job! So that average folks can have confidence in the “system.” A liberal judge or Mayor may be uncomfortable with arresting antifa, because maybe they agree with them, but they must prosecute them because it is their job. If they dislike it, then resign.

Agreed about Christ. I will check with my wife on that one. But I don’t believe that Christ wanted people to be lambs to the slaughter. That the individual has the right to defend themselves from harm. And, of course, pray for direction.
The video, filmed by Christoffersen, appears to show the young activist getting shoved by a fellow student after an exchange of words. Christoffersen was seated at a table gathering signatures for a petition to bring Fox host Tomi Lahren to campus... Christoffersen told Breitbart that he reported the incidents to the school’s bias incident response team, but a report from that team stated that it would not respond to the incident because politically charged harassment is not included under the team’s directive.

Ya. Sorry for being hopeful. Because the alternative is very unpleasant. Will America survive? Yes, if the right leadership is in place. We were very lucky 239 years ago. Darn lucky — a bunch of old, smart, white men. And maybe providence had a hand, too?
The Russian and French revolutions are examples of failures (IMO). Especially the Russian revolution. A success like the United States is very very rare.
If we do go that route, then I hope and pray that we keep all of the good things about America which would be about 95% of how our government is structured. I would term limit judges and representatives. I think that the founders got it right.
I used to work at Bentley as a contractor. It is a nice campus and the people are nice.
But with the exception of some football players and some other athletes, no one on that campus is a physical threat to anyone.
To suggest that they are little snow-flaky kids would be generous.

We lock them up in the south. Obuma sent one of his Black Lives Matter big chiefs down here to start a riot. He got charged with attempted murder under the state’s anti-klan law. Five to 10 in state prison.
This is a big reason why you don’t see much of Klantifa here in the south.
