The problem is too many of the mind numbed robots think that if a numb scull like Crosby can detest Trump, everyone with an ounce of brain should too. Notice, the only justification that Crosby gives for his rant is Trump’s so-called p***y grabbing talk aboard the Billy Bush’s bus. Everyone knew that Trump’s words were hypothetical hot air—everyone but Crosby.
Notice, Crosby gives no single fact to support his thinking. That’s because he has no brain cells left that can retain factual knowledge.
“This is your brain, this is your brain on drugs . . .
. . . Any questions?
- Ted Nugent
Acid-tripped smelly hippie. He’s worthless and what he calls music sucks.
We had some free tickets to see them in Vegas at MGM about 12 years ago and just for the heck of it (I knew better) we went. Three songs in before we walked. Not that good live and after seeing their ‘AIM’ buddies selling t-shirts for $35+ in the lobby and listen to the band bitch about “the man” and capitalism, enough was heard.
IIRC, “8 Miles High” was about the Byrds flying into London for a Euro concert tour.
Another fun fact....
During a Byrds recording session, they were visited by a guitarist in a small English group. He said his name was George and was from the small town of Liverpool.
The Byrds were waaaaay underappreciated - loved that jangly 12-string guitar sound. Their first album was exceptional.
a-hole got a free liver (paid for by Phil Collins) and he certainly didnt deserve after his decades of drug and alcohol abuse.Crosby's liver problems stemmed from a long run with hepatitis C from drug abuse. He (and Collins) paid the big bux in the early 90's and jumped the donor line while many others languished and died for want of a donor, including my friend and manager Alan DeRosa (RIP) - I've been bitter for 25 years. Crosby's worth is $40 mil or so.
“As for Neil Young, he hasn’t had a listenable melody or lyric since 1972, imho. To me, he’s fingernails on a chalkboard.”
That’s pretty close. There are several of his tunes since that I’ve liked but early 70’s was when he was in his prime. He was quite young.
Thanks for the info about Crosby. Most of what you wrote I had not heard before.
