As long as you personally didn’t see it, or your client admitted they did it, you assume they are innocent... force the government to prove their case.
Dershowitz did his job, the fact the Feds agreed to the light deal they did was either one of two things... they didn’t trust their case.. or they didn’t want the case to go to trial to protect others...
Given that Epstein’s behavior was an open secret for decades, it’s almost certainly the latter...

Of course, and that is exactly what the liberal media said about Hillary Clinton's work on behalf of the alleged perpetrator of a violent rape against a 12 year old girl. Clinton may have stepped over the line in her advocacy, using tactics and attacking the victim in ways that are now considered inappropriate. But no one in the liberal media said that disqualified her from office, as they are now saying about Labor Secretary Acosta, or that it indicated she was guilty of something.
Alan Dershowitz is a very skilled lawyer, and it would really be surprising to hear that he was personally involved in any inappropriate behavior of the sort alleged of Mr. Epstein.
Or the news reports that Epstein was a CIA asset are true.
The new indictments make no reference to “Pedo Island.”
As to Epstein's plane, I don't recall seeing any references to that, either - but I will go back and look.

While I agree that the accused must absolutely get the full extent of legal argument and representation; nowadays there is NO concern for justice, just whatever DEAL can be made.

The indictment does mention Epstein's plane, but there is no allegation that any unlawful actions took place on the plane.
What exactly was Dershowitz doing on the island? Nothing but sipping pina colatas under palms trees by himself?
The Professor wants to be on the legal team, not on the witness stand.
Obviously Epstein has film of Dershowitz also...
