I dumped Netflix a couple months back after they brought Barry and Big Mike on the board of directors. I’m not paying a dime toward those two freaks.
Those are digital antennas. “Full-power analog television broadcasts, however, were required by U.S. federal law to cease by June 12, 2009.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_television_in_the_United_States
I forgot to mention that the Wikipedia article mentions the allowed exceptions to the digital rule. Also, I got a laugh out of many millennials not understanding that you could get free TV OTA with an antenna - https://www.wsj.com/articles/millennials-unearth-an-amazing-hack-to-get-free-tv-the-antenna-1501686958
You’re Welcome
Do it anyway...that would be less people in your household to watch the lies and ignorance out there....
..old dvds...old tapes...old books...internet news media..good recent encyclopedias which are now dirt cheap are excellent sources for history and things which dont change. Do not need most tv channels AT ALL. Sorry about the caps. Go cold turkey and watch. Your extra time and money will increase and you will learn how to voraciously acquire knowledge..maybe a cable company will start which gives out only the channels you want.

also has OAN and the Tennis Channel.
During the slams, I love to watch the ladies play.
Youtube TV service is $40 a mo. Its equivalent to $150 cable service. NO Contracts. It has ALL the cable channels and sports you like. Its also easy to share your service with friends/family, you can have tv’s (5) in more than one location as well. I bought a Roku smart tv and got 1 month free. Cheers!
Bump for later.
Buy the $35 high gain antenna.
Johnny Carson is on METV now.
I quit watching any news, national or local, about 3 years ago. Yep! I no longer want to throw a shoe through the TV. And I’m still more informed than anyone I know that watches that stupid crap.
We have Spectrum (spit) as our internet provider. They have an app you can download to watch live tv cable channels just like you were watching it on tv. I’d bet most providers do.
We just cancelled Direct TV last month. For $39 we bought an antenna that sits in the window. We get over 20 channels free.
