The DOJ should start looking into the prospect of rat election fraud in 2020 and start issuing subpoenas of all email and phone records of the committee chairs and house leadership. Heck, go on an anonymous tip from one of Hillary Clinton’s advisers.

That would go over nice.

and also prevent Democrats from more conservative districts from taking multiple votes on contempt resolutions. Many of those members have said they would prefer to be working on policy instead of investigations of the president

The only reason why

new powers to unilaterally “initiate” judicial proceedings to enforce subpoenas in federal court

Don't think it works that way.

-- The rest of the House should be pissed that they're being told to buzz off --

On the contrary. This is a fantastic accountability avoidance move. Not quite as good as punting to the courts or erecting an unaccountable agency, but close.

No; they collaborate, particularly through inaction but sometimes openly and actively.

-- They're willing to destroy the country to get Trump. --

Getting Trump is just gravy. Congress has been about the business of subordinating the US to a regional or gloabal governance for the past 100+ years. Of course, they will say they are "upholding" the country. But only as token/name value.

Congress is a corrupt place, no doubt about it. A lot of money flows through the DC trough and they belly up to it. Their only loyalty is to themselves.

Most of them are also professional liars.

Republicans got nothing to do with this. Think about what this statement means. They are really not needed.

Ordinarily, Democrat-led committees would need to secure a vote of the full House before seeking to enforce...

Breakin' all the rules. And yet, it still won't work.

Do these idiots realize they will no longer control the house at the end of next year ? A reelected President will have coattails. They simply play no defense. All offense all the time. No thinking ahead beyond the next election. How pitiful.
