All ships that do battle are battleships to millenials.

I regularly pass by a real one on the Delaware river at Camden NJ. Awesome sight from Penn's landing in Philadelphia.

Thanks. I had seen it suggested earlier that the USS Fitzgerald collision was the result of a cat fight between a female OOD and CIC, but it was written in a manner where you couldn’t be sure. Proceedings would certainly be a good source.

It’s a rare woman who is immune to interpersonal drama. In most jobs that won’t get you killed. I wouldn’t put women in charge of warships. It’s another stupid idea in a society that lacks common sense.

Well technically it is a correct term if used this way. Battle ship. Ie. A ship that does battle. But in Euroland, it would be ship battle. Lol. And no one has seen a battleship in battle for awhile. Yes, we can be tough on the youngins, but you should have seen our parents. And our grandparents would have had millenials calling 911. Lol.

It kind of helps that I put 32 years in the military business. You sponge up a lot of information in that amount of time and it really only means that I outlived the technology before the new stuff comes out. Someday we may not have to worry about weapons as we will be our own. But as long as there is evil in the world, we remain players. And right now, we are the prototype.
