This sort of petty provincialism should be left to the Democrats.
#1 Is Gen. Berger good for the Corps?
#2 Is Gen. Berger good for the Coutry?
If so, stop the silly games and get him appointed.
what an idiot, probably doing this just to get his name in the papers.
inclined to listen to Col. Dan Sullivan, USMC, (R-AK), Harvard-87 Economics-Cum Summa Laude, Georgetown Law & School of Foreign Service Summa Laude.
Who also served in the 2nd Bush Administration in two posts, was elected Alaska Attorney General then was appointed Secretary of Natural Resources.
Sullivan defeated Democratic Mark Begin D-AK in 2014 and was sworn in in January 2015, giving Alaska one Republican senator.
Sullivan has served in the United States Marine Corps since 1993, both on active duty and in the reserves. He moved to Alaska in 1993 and left the Marines.
I cant find when Sullivan re-joined the Marines Reserves but he has deployed overseas three times (including in Afghanistan) in all or part of five years the last being in 2013.
Im sorry about the double post. This is the full, edited post which is attributed to Wikipedia and a Sullivan staff bio.
