Even the Catholic Church has this forgotten tradition in its bones. Cardinal Burke said in the last couple of days that patriotism and love of country is a virtue. He said that it flows from the Commandment to Honor your Father and Mother. Remember God, Family Country of days old?
We need to return to a true, classical conservatism based on the wisdom of the ages. We need to out the neo -Marxists and Godless cabal that controls academia and the media and begin a movement of renewal.
This guy has it right.
For that matter, I don't think the Deep State is running the show either. Just part of the structure.
This has been going on since the 1960's, perhaps going all the way back to the end of WWII. (John Kerry wasn't a free agent back in the 60's. He was following orders. He had joined the club.).
Impossible to know who is in charge, but whoever it is is also behind the EU and what is going on the Europe (Viktor Orbán has said as much).
I believe that those who say it is a loose conglomeration of like-thinking commies are overlooking the void/vacuum that unfilled leadership leaves.
Someone is always fighting to sit in the captain's chair if or when it is unfilled. That is just human nature.
That said, I do think there is a dynamism about commie-think that causes like-minded folks to behave in ways that collectively further the cause. Not denying that one bit.

The CIA is definitely behind Big Tech. Has been for decades, but it is really only in the last 15 years that it has got as malign and dystopian as it is.
