The JASSM-ER has a range of almost 600 miles. At $1.2m a pop, it’s not cheap. But a nuclear program is the classic definition of a high value target. It’s one of the few targets in recent years where the dollar value of the target exceeds that of the ordnance. We’d also find out, in a real life setting whether the S-400 can do anything to JASSM’s.

A nuclear program is almost totally dependent on vast amounts of electricity to run the centrifuges for seperation of U238 from the U235 the fissionable material. Take out the electrical grid which is most easy and all those centrifuges are useless.
