Agreed,

If the marathon said they would keep things supported for a 7:30 pace, then it is inexcusable that the support infrastructure was not maintained to all that were at that pace or better.

Personally I think people who run marathons didn’t read the story all the way to the end, but I do commend them for doing it.

Who said anything about starting at the top? Did you bother to read the article? Clearly not... just knee jerked some political bs.

The race stated they would support a 7:30 pace... the racers within that pace were not being supported properly by the infrastructure... no water and water stations etc...

Nowhere in the article does anyone claim those at this pace claimed they wanted to be on top.

You sir, are an arse hat.
