Pretty rude. The Brotherhood is a terror group. Regional states recognize that. It may be reality, recognizing reality might be a plus in foreign relations and domestic policy. But what if it hurts feelings? This will hurt the feelings of Muslims, at least some of them which makes the President an Islamaphobe. President Obama wouldn't hurt feelings like this. He'd support an Arab Spring for the region. When you're dead you're feelings can't be hurt. Just be careful not to hurt the feelings of JV players like ISIS. Or the mullahs.

When the Brotherhood gets the ‘Terrorist organization’ label, it’s going to complicate the lives of Congresspeople and other outspoken muslims connected to CAIR. They’re not going to be happy.

When you consider the source for the thought that The Muslim Brotherhood should be considered an ally, then that’s plenty of reason to discount the theory entirely.
