A fine example. Id be glad to be on the roof with him on my side.
Not long ago I read an editorial at Free Republic that said the Second Amendment should be promoted to the First Amendment since all the other Rights are useless if we can’t defend ourselves.
I thought that was very clever and very true.
>See, the dirty little secret of civilization is that its designed to maintain order when 99.9% of folks are orderly.
Worth saying again and emphasizing.
Hes got a Daewoo K1. Nice rifle.
“The history of vigilante justice and the Montana Vigilantes began in 1863 in what was at the time a remote part of eastern Idaho Territory. Vigilante activities continued, although somewhat sporadically, through the Montana Territorial period until the territory became the state of Montana on November 8, 1889. Vigilantism arose because territorial law enforcement and the courts had very little power in the remote mining camps during the territorial period. “
Good analysis by Kurt on the numbers of responders vs. the bad actor percentage. The best part of the column is how it shows clearly that there will be no “first response” when those numbers are at play. Those “rooftop Koreans” proved they understood the law of the jungle and determined what was required to be the “big cat” when the jackals and hyenas were trying to run with their rules.

Could there be a more appropriate rifle for a rooftop Korean to be carrying? I think not!
Excellent.
Excellent, excellent article.
One of Kurts best.
The “rooftop Koreans” weren’t vigilantes - at least if they were just shooting to protect theirs or others businesses. Same goes for the citizens along our borders the other week that caught the illegals and held them for the Border Patrol.
I’m sure most if not all of those Koreans had been through military service of some kind back in South Korea; guns didn’t scare them.
nj.com recently ran a story about how “Newark institutions” wanted their employees to live in Newark NJ; one college was offering employees a one-time payment of $3,000 if they’d move into the city. The comments were hilarious; that money wouldn’t even secure a home.
There is a desperate plea for whites to move back into our crime-ridden, sh!thole cities; I assume the local “ministers” will be allowed to designate where the gentrifying hostages would be placed.
Much like Barr proclaimed yesterday that “spying” is not a pejorative term, I’d suggest that “vigilante” is not pejorative either.
