You need to learn how to read before you diss an article! This so-called "baloney" from Rolling Stone is a fair assessment of how biased the media has been and how ashamed of themselves they should be. It also correctly points out that the media is so out of it that they won't learn from their mistakes.
The one major point that this guy misses is that a penitent media would and should out the anonymous sources which fed them bogus information for the last 2 years.

Classic attack on another board member for expressing his view. You have a right to "lub Rolling Stone" all you wish. I find most everything I have read there as one sided and strongly leaning to the left.
This wasn’t a “Screw Up”. The press conspired with the democrats to subvert an election. And that effort was down to the level of telling “reporters” what words to use. And the “reporters” are so brazen or stupid they all use the same words across all channels and times. This is treason
not free speech and the perps should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
The article is based on a false assumption - that these are “journalists” and “reporters” in the classic sense, who were merely naive or wishful in trusting their “sources,” and so were “misled.” (And should be “furious” as a result.)
These “reporters,” in order to hold on to their jobs, follow a slant that is determined in advance by their bosses. The editorial board and owners determine first of all what “the story” is, and then send out their reporters to find “facts” to confirm it.
The NYTimes and Washington Post are outlets for CIA propaganda. They print what the CIA wants people to believe.
Taibbi is the New Journalism's only honest reporter since Tom Wolfe and P.J. O'Rourke. Unlike the rest of the latte Stalinists at Rolling Stone, Taibbi is a liberal who has actual standards. He's equivalent to Nat Hentoff, who wrote for decades for the notoriously Communist Village Voice. A self-described atheist, Hentoff wrote on three subjects: jazz, Constitutional rights, and abortion. For the last 30 or 40 years of his life, he was fervently, insistently pro-life--because he saw that all Constitutional rights depend on the first one. The moonbats at the Voice hated that about him, but Nat had a following, and they feared his integrity.
We invited him to speak to a group of young Catholics once, and he was great. RIP, Nat.
The Mueller report makes clear reporters were sold wolf whistles over and over, led by reams of unnamed official sources who urged them to see meaning in meaningless things and assume connections that weren’t there.

Second, the 'press' wasn't conned. It was a partnership. No less than the NY Times decreed that the 'threat of Trump' meant that the 'old journalistic standards' no longer applied. The 'press' screwed the pooch. No more, no less. It continues today.
