Plenty of gentrification happening in Baltimore too. But many moving in are single or married and have no children. Those moving out have families. Net population decline.

I would have thought the crime trends were too tough for that to be continuing. Haven’t been there in more than a decade, however.
Those went from endangered species to extinct.
Baltimore hasn’t had a decent Mayor since William Donald Schaefer.
Sure - but it gets the votes of short-sighted people. By the time they are starving, they’ve been disarmed by the nanny state they supported.
Not only that but there should be a state of emergency in Baltimore where you declare curfew in the city from 10 pm to 5 am (except for Inner Harbor) and residents would have to stay inside unless they have a permit to go to work. It would be a way to get a handle on soaring crime statistics.
