Probably like the old A-7 - dubbed the flying rock...lose engines and pray for a safe ejection.

When I was in Korea, I loved when the F-15s (joint op exercises) would take off in tandem, several waves one after the other, in full military afterburner...

I can relate...that’s the kind of stuff that got me into hot cars when I was in my late teens - early 20s

I don't know.
I just think that it loses something...

The old A-7s were very similar in flight characteristics... flying rocks until they lost power.

I recall an article saying they take used aircraft from the fleet. I wonder if their new models will also be used. I imagine that they will be since they strip out a lot of the equipment that is only needed for an operational fighter squadron. The weight savings gives the Blues a bit more power/weight ratio. You wouldn't want to do this with new air frames just off the assembly line.

Pressure suits? That is a requirement if flying over 50,000’!
You mean “G-suits.” which are like pants worn over the flight suit that have bladders that fill with air when high “G” forces are encountered when maneuvering. The suit acts to prevent blood from going to the lower extremities, thereby avoiding gray outs or black outs.
Not a big deal. I’ve worn g-suits and also not worn them, one just has to be ahead of the g-forces which are controlled by the
pilot to begin with.

BS, no choice but the Hudson and ditching is a training item for all airlines.

Sully was an F-4 jock. Which is why his landing in the Hudson was done so very well. When one can fly and land a brick, they can fly anything. He was also a glider pilot instructor while a cadet at the Air Force Academy.

Thanks for the Black Daggers link.

I always like the Corsairs. They had a cool look to them. And then there was the ‘other’ Corsair...the Vought F4U. Very sexy.
