So, if the U.S. soldiers were clearly on U.S. territory,

why doesn't CNN ask where the Mexican soldiers were relative to the border? Huh? CNN is a traitorous organization that hates the country in which it operates.

Next time, do whatever it takes to kill ANY Mexican soldier who confronts a U.S. soldier on the border and ESPECIALLY one who disarms one.

This is why Democrat’s want more Mexicans. They each have the 8a77s Republicans lack. Cross the border and when caught point your guns at the lawful side and then take credit for deescalating the situation while making the lawful side look like chumps.

The headline raised my blood pressure!
But this is a nothing-burger.
A fence should be where it’s supposed to be. hard to do with a wandering river.

A reasonable mistake handled professionally.
(Those Mex soldiers should be looked into for being cartel guards of course).

Did the Mexican soldiers share their official Mexican map with our soldiers?

The entire Mexican border in Texas is the Rio Grande. Sounds like we built the fence north of there let’s let our boys be south of the fence, but north of the river. I know this is going to be a shock to a lot of people, but people in Mexico are not as well educated as we are. They see a great big border fence and thank our side, and their side.

Anyway, one time a Mexican Army lieutenant in his Squad did right by me. That’s all the story I’m going to tell

Those armed Mexican troops could have easily been drug cartel members impersonating military members. I hope this is not something they will start trying. Bad enough that they are kidnapping children and using them as shields to get illegal’s in to the USA.
President Trump needs to set up a hotline and a website with photos of every child brought into the US. When the actual parents of kidnapped children start calling Liberal heads will explode. Even though they claim there is no crisis at the border.

Given the Rules Of Engagement American Soldiers usually are forced to operate under that sidearm was probably not even loaded.

We use Soldiers as a pawns and photo OPs but we don't allow them to do what they train for.

Soldiers are for killing people and breaking other countries shit so swiftly and violently that they beg us to stop. Then we leave those images as a lesson to others that might think they have the juice to try something something.

There is a damn river there. I grew up there. The Mexican soldiers knew they were in US territory. There is only one logical explanation for there presence in US territory, they were protecting drug running or illegal immigration to the US territory or both.

This should have been a fire fight. I wonder what our rules of engagement are on the border?

CNN reporting. Is it true? Could the media actually start a war?

Stress levels must be high on the border for the BP, US military, and Mexican military.

There are many bad people along the border. Mexico is in near civil war with drug cartels, who are at war with everybody. Bad guys have access to the uniforms & military gear of both countries. What looks like a soldier might not be - on either side.

Why would Mexican soldiers be on our border? Could they have been looking for drug gangs, or helping them? Hard to know, but given they didn’t start shooting & it ended peacefully, I’m guessing their presents was legit.

Congratulations to 2 groups of soldiers who didn’t shoot each other up over a misunderstanding. Clearly marked vehicles should be required in the future.

So what half assed CNN is not saying is, is that Mexican troops came into US territory and disarmed US soldiers.

I just looked at a map, like anyone can, and see the border is clearly the Rio Grande River. You have to cross the river to be “north of the border”.

Let this be the last of this. The fools knew what they were doing and they did it for provocation.

Next time shoot the bastards and NEVER let them take your gun.

Hope we don't get into a war, Mexico might win.

.

“After a brief discussion between the soldiers from the two nations, the Mexican military members departed the area. The U.S. soldiers immediately contacted CBP, who responded quickly. Throughout the incident, the U.S. soldiers followed all established procedures and protocols,” the statement said.

{The U.S. service members reported hearing someone from the south side yell “Vamonos” in Spanish.}

Newsweak story with incident location map.

I give our troops credit for staying cool in a potentially deadly situation.

Talking is much smarter than shooting, at least at first. If this sort of encounter takes place two or three times a week, then not just no but hell no. But professional soldiers talking with (we presume) other professionals is definitely the wise move. Oh, and we don’t know the current Rules of Engagement so we shouldn’t comment.

I am a little curious how the Mexicans got within talking range without our guys challenging them at a distance, but I’ll let that slide for today.

The wetbacks with AKs obviously had to be in US soil to take the pistol from the US soldier

That’s one thing about fences; if it is not right on the border people will move the border.
